Confession

Remember how I said my childhood wish was to have a Land Rover?

Well... er... (shuffles in an embarrassed way)...

Let's just say I can now cross that one off the list. And they took my only-had-it-for-a-month 'old car' in part exchange. There'll be no more talk of car problems now, I trust.

Jep - if we did everything when we were younger, we wouldn't have anything to look forward to!

Lost track of the land rovers that have been parked outside here - stayed awhile and fell to bits! Now its a Jeep Cherokee and that is definitely proving to be reliable and a real workhorse! Probably put the kiss of death on it now!

I'd love to say it was a Defender, Jane - particularly the 12-seater 110 Station Wagon (not least because they can claim exemption from the Congestion Charge, even though I never drive to London these days)... but it's not. Fuel economy and... well, just 'economy', really... meant it's a Freelander. It's still a real Land Rover, honest it is.
