Assorted festivities

Well, the town centre's a bit clearer this week. Not only did we have the Arundel Festival and Fringe all week but we also had plenty of visitors because of the Goodwood Revival at the weekend. I didn't see much of either, although I found time to pop into some of the Arundel Gallery Trail houses (Robert Olliver-Jones's paintings are beautiful, if occasionally disturbing because of the sensation that you're being watched) and to have a glass of wine at the temporary wine bar on the river bank. The photo's from one of the public car parks at Goodwood...

Hmm I do not think I would want the eyes of the young Baccus on the website following me around the room ,very classical composition but something faintly distrurbing!..I used to go to a pub near Arundal years ago called I think the black rabbit.. ah those were the days..

The pictures you describe sound wonderful. I love the ones where eyes follow you round a room.

Oooo no I don't like eyes that follow you - bit like CCTV in shops - always makes me feel guilty as though I have done something wrong.

Del Arun - it is soooo lovely to hear from you again . . .
